About St. Joseph’s Health Care Society

The St. Joseph’s Health Care Society is a sponsor of Catholic health care. Formed in 1993 with the purpose to accept sponsorship responsibility of health care initiatives founded by the ministries of the Sisters of St. Joseph (London), today the Society provides sponsorship to health care organizations in three cities spanning across southwestern Ontario. As a sponsor, the Society is dedicated to strengthening the healing ministry of Catholic health care and being responsive to the health and social needs of the communities it serves, with particular attention to the needs of the marginalized, in ways that are consistent with its founding Sisters’ commitment to compassionate care.
